‘Masisebenze Kunye’
St George’s Grammar School is proud to welcome you all to the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa, for the 2010 African Regional Round Square Conference.
The conference logo shows the theme of this year’s conference: ‘Masisebenze Kunye’, meaning ‘Let's Work Together’ in isiXhosa, one of South Africa’s eleven official languages.
This theme will be clearly illustrated by the many stimulating conference activities, which include equipping a library for St Michaels School in Khayelitsha, a project involving the removal of alien vegetation and Bonfire Theatre’s democracy workshop. Several keynote speakers including the likes of Broadway Star Jody Abrahams and world renowned adventurer Riaan Manser, will be keeping delegates intellectually stimulated.
We at SGGS look forward to hosting our fellow African delegates, for what will be an unforgettable conference.
