Bursary Conditions and Criteria

There are three bursaries available for students, and in some cases adults, at member schools to apply for assistance to attend an RSIS project. These are all partial bursaries.

The Peter Pelham Memorial bursary is an endowed fund from which revenues will be disbursed on RSIS projects.

The recipients are students from financially disadvantaged RS member schools.

Peter Pelham was a past Board member and strong advocate of supporting financially disadvantaged schools

Students currently attending financially disadvantaged global member schools; minimum age 16; students whose family cannot afford the cost of an RSIS project

Self-nomination-application available on RS website and submitted to RS Executive Director

Maximum of £1000 annually

The Governors’ Fund monies may be disbursed annually to fund  bursaries on RSIS Projects.

This fund was established by the Governors in 2005.

 

The recipients will be students and staff at global member schools  who could not otherwise afford this opportunity.

Applications will be made through the Executive Director and Governors representative on the RS Board
