The IDEALS in our school

At Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School, every IDEAL is embedded into the academic, pastoral care and co-curricular program. Each year group from Year 1 to Year 10 attends a camp where adventure, environmental, service and leadership activities challenge the students. Leadership opportunities and democratic principles are evident in House Councils and peer support structures.

We continue to explore new ways to develop deeper understanding of the IDEALS within our school community. In the Primary School, students complete a Round Square Passport where they discover new opportunities, and demonstrate understanding and participation in each IDEAL.

What being a Round Square school means to us

BCGS is a proud global member of Round Square. Membership has provided many interesting and varied opportunities for our students. Through our engagement in the exchange program, conferences and service projects we are able to provide students with a much broader understanding of our world, and a deeper appreciation of its people and the challenges we all face. Our students are enriched by their Round Square participation and we are heartened by the inspiration and reflection that travel and conference attendance engenders.
