Lower Canada College is a diverse, coeducational, K-12 university preparatory school committed to the fullest development of students, preparing them for success and leadership in a sustainable global society. The IDEALS in our school

The Round Square IDEALS perfectly complement LCC’s mission to encourage student leadership, citizenship and service. They are promoted through a range of exciting global opportunities intended to provide students with a rewarding and stimulating experience, both on an educational and personal level. Students learn to see themselves as global citizens and are asked to look beyond gender, class, race, nationality and culture to understand human nature. As Round Square members, LCC students participate in regional and international exchange programs, educational conferences and forums, and community service projects across the globe.

What being a Round Square school means to us

LCC students are exposed to the Round Square IDEALS right from the start of their LCC journey, with elements of the Round Square philosophy being an inherent part of the daily school routine. Community service, environmental and international issues, leadership, facing physical challenges and developing an appreciation of the outdoors are an integral component of the LCC academic and co-curricular program. Helping to develop a Round Square student means developing a Round Square person for life.
