The IDEALS in our school

Radford College takes an holistic approach to education and character development which is well suited to the integration of the Round Square IDEALS. Students are encouraged to explore and contribute to local, regional, national and international communities, through academic, cultural, sporting/adventure and service learning pursuits. Activities are designed to promote Sustainability, Inclusivity, Justice and Diversity.

Student leadership, peer and buddy support as well as service learning opportunities are provided for Primary and Secondary School students, fostering a sense of connection with each other and the wider world, and promoting the development of an active and empathetic personal orientation.

What being a Round Square school means to us

Membership of Round Square assists Radford in offering opportunities for students to develop as informed, responsible, principled and confident global citizens, living by the College motto, Truth Compassion Wisdom, not just in the present, but throughout their lives. These values are universal and belong to all the great human endeavours. Truth is about belonging, loving, having the freedom to actualise the higher self.  Compassion is an incorruptible virtue that moves with grace and healing.  Wisdom is a way of living in a way that gives life to others.
