Transylvania College teaches youngsters of all ages, from nursery to high school. Accredited by Cambridge, it is the only school in Romania offering boarding services similar to those in Great Britain. Its mission is to give each child/student the opportunity to reach excellence in everything they do. The core values of Transylvania College are creativity, responsibility, excellence and diversity. Its vision of ‘excellence in education’ means offering a warm, safe and multicultural environment and a holistic education.
The IDEALS in our school
I: Students interact with people of other nationalities in school, at international conferences and during exchanges.
D: The Student Council is the “voice of the students” and advocates their best interest.
E: Our Eco Team’s activities and projects have earned us the Green Flag – a prestigious title for sustainable schools in Romania.
A: Our adventure department organises Duke of Edinburgh adventure trips and students practice various outdoor and indoor sports.
L: Transylvania College has many leadership structures, such as the Round Square Committee and the Houses system.
S: Each class does monthly charitable work and we are currently cooperating with the Make a Wish foundation for our school-wide Service Project.
