The IDEALS in our school
The IDEALS are at the very heart of Westfield School life and they form a unique programme of personal development for every girl in the school. The school places a great deal of importance on service, adventure, environment and leadership. Each pillar has an elected committee serving pupils across both Senior and Junior schools. The Round Square Committee annually elects a student representative to oversee the many fundraising activities that take place throughout the year. Pupils participate in RSIS every year and the school has long-maintained its sponsorship of students from Starehe School, Kenya. The IDEALS help equip our students with a strong sense of what it means to be a valuable, empowered and proactive global citizen.
What being a Round Square school means to us
As a Round Square school we have been able to offer our students life-changing experiences whilst networking with like-minded schools from across the globe. These lasting partnerships have equipped our students with a global perspective and confidence to rise to different challenges. The pillars of Round Square form a sound educational philosophy throughout the school allowing our students to take part in a unique programme of self-discovery, nurturing the IDEALS and encouraging a spirit of service, adventure and leadership as custodians of tomorrow’s world.
