Chief Executive Officer
Round Square CEO, Rachael Westgarth, heads a worldwide network of 190 schools in 50 countries that share a passion for character-education and collaborative-learning on a global scale. Having coordinated a new RS strategic plan she has led a range of initiatives, including a collaborative research programme with leading universities, and the development and launch of the Round Square Discovery Framework. A graduate of Oxford University, Rachael was previously Deputy CEO at Young Enterprise (Junior Achievement), where she created enterprise programs across the K-12 age range. Her career spans non-profit and commercial leadership roles in research, marketing, fundraising, program development and curriculum design.
Key Initiatives Manager
In this role Sam draws on fifteen years’ experience spanning communications, public relations, event management, research and fundraising. To date she has spent much of her career in the education sector working for government departments and social enterprises and most recently within an independent prep school.
Katie Di Feliciantonio
Digital Communications Manager
Katie joined Round Square in January 2015 with a background in communications and media resource, most recently in a school environment. Katie combines strong technical skills with a keen understanding of digital content and interest in Social Media to manage and champion Round Square’s website and Social Media content, as well as a number of specific digital projects.
Conference and Projects Manager
Emma joined Round Square in the role of Student Conference and Events manager in September 2015. Emma joined Round Square with 4 years’ practical experience working with young people in both adventurous activities and team building events, as well as expertise in working with schools throughout the UK to deliver the expedition section of the Duke of Edinburgh’s award. With previous and recent experience in planning, budgeting and implementation of events Emma is well-versed in a wide range of student event and activity management and delivery.
Schools’ Support Director - USA & Canada
Duncan joined the team in April 2015. Previously, he served in leadership roles at four schools in Canada and the US. Duncan has helped to lead two RSIS projects and has assisted with the organization of Regional and Global RS conferences. Duncan’s job involves supporting the member schools in the Americas region by encouraging collaboration and networking. Duncan also assists with the identification of potential member schools and the stewarding of new member schools.
Head of Membership
Jane has been involved with Round Square for more than 15 years, initially as bursar at a Round Square member school, and on the employed team for eight. As Membership Support Manager Jane co-ordinates, facilitates and records Round Square’s membership support programme for every stage from enquiry through application, induction and on-going mentoring, training, professional development and quality assurance.
Rox joined in August 2016 and is a qualified accountant with over 10 years’ experience having worked in both Corporate and SME businesses. She brings a wealth of experience having covered all aspects of accounting Auditing, Commercial, Financial and Management.
Schools’ Support Director – Latin America
In addition to her degree in Management Education, Florencia also holds a degree in Journalism and began her career in Journalism, Marketing and Public Relations. This background, combined with her extensive experience both as a teacher and as an educational manager, and her work with organisations in the charity and not-for-profit sectors, means that Florencia comes to Round Square with a broad portfolio of applicable skills, and wide-ranging understanding and experience of the positive benefits and opportunities of the interaction between these sectors.
Rajbir (Bubbles) Sandhu
Schools’ Support Director - South Asia & the Gulf
Bubbles has been associated with Round Square for 16 years as the Rep at Vivek High School, India and more recently as the Mentor and Coordinator of SAAG Region since 2013. A former Head of school with teaching experience of university and school level, she mentors and supports potential new member schools as well as member schools of the region. She works towards creating a collaborative community of schools with the common aim of strengthening Round Square ethos.
Australasia & East Asia Regional Support Manager
RS Rep at Ivanhoe Grammar School in Melbourne, Australia, since 1996, Rod has extensive experience of Round Square co-ordination in-school including service project participation, leadership and management, student exchange and GAP as well as co-ordinating student fundraising and managing school, regional and international conferences. As Regional Support Manager, Rod’s role includes supporting effective communication, collaboration and good practice sharing, as well as promoting Round Square within the region.
Head of Programme Development
Aimee comes to Round Square from a background in curriculum design and development gained both in a teaching environment, and through education project work, in national and international contexts.
Most recently the Head of a UK Middle School, Aimee has combined a 17-year teaching career with roles that have enabled her to work collaboratively with other teachers to gather and disseminate good practice education resources. Aimee gained her Masters of Education in Australia where she taught for a number of years, and worked on a national curriculum project across multiple states, before moving to the UK in 2009
Europe & the Mediterranean Regional Support Manager
Sandy has been involved with RS for a number of years. Much of her career has been spent in education, initially teaching and then as Principal/ Head Teacher and Director before joining Box Hill in 2010. Sandy’s role with Round Square will engage her in guiding potential new RS member schools in Europe through the application process, and facilitating communication and good practice sharing between existing member schools in the region.
