About Regional Conferences
Regional conferences provide opportunities to bring together students of different ages from your school with their peers throughout your region for a vibrant multi-national conference opportunity that is relatively close to home.
Typically, at least two Regional Conferences are hosted per region per year, and age ranges usually include 11-13, 14-15 and/ or 16-18 year olds. The duration of Regional Conferences varies between 4 and 6 days, and either focus on one of the IDEALS or encompass a full IDEALS experience.
Hosting a Regional Conference is a great stepping stone to preparing a bid to host a Globally Accessible Round Square Conference or The Round Square International Conference in a future year, providing, as they do, a smaller-scale experience in the planning, preparation and delivery of a RS conference..
Within the RS network, each Region operates its conference criteria slightly differently and has different requirements of host schools. Please review your own Region’s section to understand the requirements specific to your part of the world.
