Assistant Head of Learning Support, UK

We wish to appoint an outstanding and well-qualified teacher to join our team. This post is full time and involves undertaking preparation, teaching, reporting and other associated work.  It is based on a teaching timetable of 28, 35-minute lessons per week with an Assistant Head of Department lesson reduction of 4 lessons per week.

Our school is a unique educational establishment, set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Our aim is to create an environment where questioning, divergent thinking and freedom to learn from mistakes are all encouraged. We are looking for someone with the enthusiasm, skills and commitment to build on the success that our team is currently enjoying at Bedales. Candidates should hold Qualified Teacher Status and an additional qualification in teaching students with SEND or SpLD. The ability to play an effective part in a team and build positive rapport with students is essential.  You should also be keen to play a full and inclusive role in the life of our busy boarding community, and be able to contribute to the development of our innovative school.

The successful candidate will ideally start in September 2020.
