International education charity Round Square is seeking an experienced, capable and creative digital communications professional to join its Worldwide Management Team in Windsor, on an 18 month fixed term contract. The post holder will provide maternity leave cover for Round Square’s Digital Communications Manager and co-ordinate hosting of a large student conference in September 2021.

This is a great opportunity for someone to broaden their event management experience whilst developing and honing communications skills and competencies through a varied and wide-ranging role within a small and friendly team.

Round Square is international network of 200 schools in 50 countries on six continents that connect and collaborate to offer world-class programmes and experiences designed to develop global competence, character and confidence in our students.

The successful applicant will initially provide maternity leave cover, taking on development of Round Square’s digital media channels and website content and the production of a weekly e-newsletter for up to 12 months.

In addition the role will include project-management of the 2021 Round Square International Conference that will be hosted in the UK in September 2021 for over 1000 delegates (students aged 16-18) from Round Square schools across the world. This element of the role will grow over the course of the 18 month appointment to become the main focus of the role in the final six months of the contract through to December 2021, and will include event planning and logistics management between five host schools and a central UK venue.

Reporting to the Round Square Chief Executive, the successful applicant will be an excellent communicator and a competent multi-tasker with strong technical skills, experience of digital creation and content management, combined with logistical skills relevant to event management of a large-scale student conference.

Whilst this role as advertised is a full-time position, proposals for reduced or flexible hours (salary commensurate with adjustments) will be considered.

Applicants should please send a CV and covering letter (which broadly highlights how their skills and experience match the requirements of the role as outlined in the job description) to Round Square Chief Executive, Rachael Westgarth (rachael@roundsquare.org) by 25th March 2020.

Interviews will be held in Windsor on Monday 6th April.
