Student Counsellor/Student Welfare Officer (Click here for Job Description)
Contract:
This is a part-time position with approximately 12 hours/week in the first instance.
Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications.
Start Date: August 2020
This key role will focus on providing high quality counselling and/or emotional/social support services to students experiencing a wide range of emotional and mental issues. You will also provide support, guidance and advice to parents, carers and other staff members within the school. In this role, it is imperative that the safeguarding and promotion of welfare to students is significant.
The ideal candidate will have qualifications and/or experience as a counsellor or psychologist working with children and young people. All post holders are subject to thorough scrutiny including DBS or similar check
