TEACHER OF ART AND DESIGN (SECONDARY)

Established in 2007, Renaissance International School Saigon has an enrolment of approximately 500 students from Early Years to Year 13. The school offers the National Curriculum for England complemented by the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). We are seeking applications from experienced and dynamic TEACHER OF ART AND DESIGN (SECONDARY). This position presents a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded international school and to work with a talented and highly motivated faculty and student body. We therefore welcome applications from qualified teachers whose skills and attributes match the position description.

Reporting to the Head of Secondary, the Art & Design teacher is required to teach a range of classes across the range of Key Stages 3 and 4 including the IGCSE and, depending on student subject selection, the IB Diploma.

The school is interested in receiving applications from teachers who can demonstrate the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree with Teacher Certification
• A minimum of three years teaching experience preferably in an international school setting.
• Experience with the IGCSE and IB Diploma.
• A demonstrated commitment to extra-curricular activities.
• Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to actively embrace the host country culture.

Our facilities are excellent and in addition to standard and specialist classrooms include an indoor swimming pool, large sports field, large gymnasium, fitness centre, a dedicated 350 seat theatre and a library with media centre and recording studio.
