Craig Carolan appointed Round Square Schools' Support Director - Africa
Round Square is delighted to announce the appointment of Craig Carolan to the position of Round Square Schools’ Support Director - Africa.
Currently Headmaster & Chief Executive Officer at Stanford Lake College, a Round Square School, and a Trainer for Thinking Schools South Africa, Craig’s teaching career spans leadership roles at successful independent schools in both the United Kingdom and Africa. An experienced trainer, speaker, writer and workshop facilitator, Craig comes to Round Square with a toolkit of skills perfectly attuned to the needs of the role.
As Headmaster of Stanford Lake, Craig was at the forefront of piloting the Round Square Discovery Framework and has regularly been called upon to share his school’s trailblazing approaches at RS conferences and workshops.
We are thrilled that Craig will be joining the Round Square team. He has a proven track record as an innovative educator and will bring an excellent range of experience, insight and understanding to this role. His enthusiasm for Round Square is boundless and infectious, and we are delighted that he will be working with the schools' network across Africa to support them in maximising the potential of their Round Square Membership.
Craig's appointment is one of six new Schools' Support Director roles that are being introduced worldwide as the position of Regional Support Manager comes to the end of its three-year term.
Our sincere thanks go to our outgoing Regional Support Manager for Africa, Willie Nganga, for all that he has done to support individual schools, establish clusters and develop a deeper sense of community within the region over that time. We know that you will join us in thanking Willie, delighting in the fact that he will still be very much a part of the Round Square Community within the region, and wishing him well in his continuing role at Brookhouse.
Craig will officially take up his new post as Round Square Schools' Support Director - Africa in January 2019
