This position is a full-time fellowship position beginning Summer 2018 – June 30, 2019.

The Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) is a mid-size team supporting a high-performing school in the areas of Advancement Services, Alumni Relations, Annual Fund, Development, and Marketing & Communications. The OIA team is currently engaged in the final phase of a comprehensive capital campaign that has significantly transformed the campus and further established the school’s strong culture of philanthropy.
The Fellowship is a one-year immersion program for an individual who has an interest exploring the Advancement field, particularly in an education setting. The successful candidate will report directly to the Associate Head of School for Institutional Advancement and participate in regular mentoring/coaching sessions. The responsibilities of the position will provide an opportunity for exposure to every aspect of the Advancement office which will include time working with the Directors of Alumni Relations, Annual Fund, Advancement Services and Marketing and Communications. Upon the successful completion of the Fellowship, Providence Day is committed to supporting the candidate in making the transition to the next step of their career.



A bachelor’s degree is required. The candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as a team member. This is a full time paid position with benefits.
