Thank you Box Hill School – Our fifth Conference Host School!

Posted: 05 May 2022

We are excited to now be in a position to share with you that Box Hill School will be joining the RSIC2022 hosting team as a fifth host school for the second half of the conference.

Most of you will know Box Hill School, as a founding member of Round Square, but for those that don’t, BHS is an independent coeducational boarding and day school with around 425 pupils, situated in the village of Mickleham near Dorking, in Surrey, England (between Heathrow and Gatwick). Situated in the Surrey Hills, there is some great countryside on the doorstep, and visiting delegates will join in a longstanding tradition of climbing Box Hill (which the whole school community does annually on Box Hill Day).

Obviously, conference planning is in the early stages for Box Hill School (!) but we are looking at some great service day options and cultural excursions as well as opportunities to spend time enjoying the lovely grounds and scenery of the school. More details will follow on the BHS Programme in the next few weeks.

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU, on behalf of the whole Round Square community, to Headmaster Cory Lowde, and the Box Hill Staff, students, and parents, for stepping in at the 11th hour to create this extra capacity.
