Dhirubhai Ambani International School sends a RS Postcard from India

Thank you to Dev, Arjun, Stuti, Rajveer, Ahaan, Tamanna, Kahaan, Dhaniti, Aanya, Devika, Arzoo and Kshitig from Dhirubhai Ambani International School in India and RS Rep Manisha Nanda who hosted a brilliant ‘Welcome to India’ RS Zoom postcard today.

Students sent in images and short messages in advance on the things they love most about India and the places and experiences they would like to have in India. On the call, our hosts introduced various aspects of Indian culture and presented on different topics before inviting participants to talk about the contributions they sent in. The call then split into 30 minute Barazza discussions around diverse topics: Khokho (Part of commonwealth games), Saakli (Indian game of human chain), Lagori (Indian version of seven stones), Gilli danda (Indian version of cricket), Chor-police (catch and cook) and Shatranj (chess)

Students from nine schools participated in the call: Our hosts, Dhirubhai Ambani International School (India), plus Indian School al Ghubra (Oman), Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School (India), St Andrew’s School for Girls’ (South Africa), Keimei Kakuen (Japan), The Millennium School (Dubai), Roedean (South Africa), Vidya Devi Jindal School (India), Sunbeam School Lahartara (India)
