The IDEALS in our school

Round Square IDEALS permeate various activities throughout the school year and are integrated into the day-to-day classroom experiences. Events such as Cultural Week, Colombian Day, and the International Fair are spearheaded by the Round Square student committee throughout the year.

Members of the Student Council are elected democratically by their peers. Their role entails supporting students’ interests, mediating conflicts, and collaborating closely with school leadership. Additionally, they serve as a bridge and institutional channel among all members of the TES community.

Furthermore, students actively participate in TESMUN, the school’s Model United Nations (MUN) program, which simulates the governance and decision-making processes of the United Nations. Participation in TESMUN offers valuable learning and reflection opportunities on current global issues, as students engage in various MUN conferences across Bogotá. Working alongside peers from other schools in the city, participants develop essential skills in research, public speaking, leadership, and diplomacy.
