Him Academy Public School, Vikas Nagar was founded by a great visionary and an eminent educationist Prof. R.C. Lakhanpal on 1st May, 1998. It is a Residential-cum-Day School, affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education.
It is nested in the lap of picturesque Shivalik Hills in Himachal Pradesh, North India.
The IDEALS in our school
At Him Academy Round Square IDEALS are fulfilled through various activities included in the annual Curriculum Plan of the school. Internationalism is emphasized through organizing project exchange Program with its partner schools, celebrating International Education Week and International days.
Adventure and Services are encouraged through activities including trekking, bird watching, adopting a village and participating in youth leadership camps. Students are sensitized about the environmental issues by celebrating national and international environmental days, setting up of sewage treatment plant, producing wormy compost from organic waste, emphasizing 3 R’s.
Leadership and Democracy are encouraged through students Council, Quality circles and participation in WCPRC.
