Westfield School is an independent day school for girls aged 3 to 18 in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, England.
The IDEALS are at the very heart of Westfield School life and form a unique personal development programme for every girl in the school.
The Round Square Committee is run by the annually-elected representative and comprises democratically elected captains of Service, Adventure and Environment as well as Form Captains from each class.
Westfield places a great deal of importance on service both in our own school and with local partner schools. Pupils participate in RSIS projects every year and we have maintained a sponsorship of Starehe pupils.
Westfield has been awarded Green Flag status for its environmental work over the last ten years.
What being a RS school means to us
As a Round Square school we have been able to offer our students life-changing experiences whilst networking with like-minded schools from around the world. These lasting partnerships have equipped our students with a global perspective and the confidence to rise to different challenges. The pillars of Round Square form a sound educational philosophy throughout the school allowing our students to take part in a unique programme of self-discovery
