To finalise our trip, the group had their last dinner together as a whole, a celebration marking the end of our demanding but rewarding service project. The group had a lovely dinner in Ha Noi, and a cake was brought out to mark and celebrate the occasion of Steffi’s 16th and our guide Sunny’s 26th birthday. This dinner was also a reminder to say our ‘see you laters’ as the next day departures begun.
On Wednesday, we drove to Ha Long Bay, where we got onto a really nice traditional boat. Here we ate a wonderful seafood inspired lunch, served with sunshine and a beautiful view over the limestone cliffs. It was an amazing end to a friendship-forming, hardworking and fun service project.
