This is the first blog to let you all know that our project team is safely together in Hanoi, spending a day together to get to know each other and sample some of the cultural sites and food before we head off to Mai Chau tomorrow.
The level of excitement in the students is palpable, conversations are vibrant and there is a real commitment from everyone to get to know each other.
It’s exciting to be thinking how this level of energy will translate into productive work on the project sites and I’m sure you will be looking forward to seeing the fruits of their labour through this continuing blog.
Tomorrow, we set off for Mai Chau before settling into our village home stays. I will update this blog tomorrow, before handing over to the students on the 09th December where they will add their style and flavour to create unique reporting for you.
