Alto’s mission is to provide an outstanding international, multilingual education focused on inquiry-based learning to foster confident, creative, and responsible learners and global thinkers. We believe in the importance of a globally-minded, progressive education. Alto’s curriculum is designed to encourage and guide students in the development of self-direction, individual responsibility, and intellectual growth. We believe that students can reach their fullest potential if they are able to develop a positive self-image. To further these goals, our school offers a learning environment that fosters creative and critical thinking with global perspectives.

What being a Round Square school means to us

At Alto, we believe that the world needs young people eager to take on today’s and tomorrow’s challenges. Round Square supports Alto in connecting students and teachers with other like-minded schools. We want our students to branch out beyond their comfort zones and to connect with peers from around the world.

We are educating students for a rapidly changing world. Round Square supports our students’ interest in adventure and global learning while also supporting the needs of others through service and environmental stewardship.
