The Ideals in our school

We help students understand internationalism by making them aware of other cultures and peoples, and their different ways of thinking and point of views that can help us grow as citizens in this ever-changing world. We believe that by opening to new intercultural experiences, students discover there are differences, and most of all, similarities that we share with others, fostering this way a sense of adventure, understanding, equality, respect, solidarity, and empathy.

Additionally, the curriculum at San José School allows teachers to put students at the center of all learning, taking them out of their comfort zones and offering them opportunities to make mistakes and take risks. Furthermore, the curriculum is supported by the department of Wellbeing and Pastoral Care, who encourage students to participate in community service campaigns and intercultural experiences with the aim of developing skills that will make them successful leaders, thinking always about doing the greater good.

What being a Round Square school means to us

Being a Round Square school means connecting, communicating, collaborating and cooperating with each other, for the sake of doing what is right for the greater good, through respect, responsibility, empathy, and most of all, desire.

Connecting is discovering our similarities and differences by opening up to others and getting to know how our ideals could converge. This is driven through continuous and respectful communication, which is not limited by countries, languages or cultures, ultimately, serving the purpose of working together and collaborating on shared goals, and achieving our own personal ones through cooperation.
