King’s Academy is an independent, co-educational private boarding and day school for students in grades 7 through 12 that opened its doors in 2007 in Madaba-Manja, Jordan.
The Ideals in our school
King’s Academy, a member of Round Square since 2010, strongly embraces the Round Square IDEALS. These are reflected in the school’s five Guiding Principles (Respect, Love of Learning, Responsibility, An Integrated Life, and Global Citizenship) and mission statement. Over the course of life at school, students and faculty have the opportunity to experience, participate and lead many of the activities and events embodying the IDEALS. From exchanges, local and international adventures, conferences, MUN, Jordan Model Parliament (JMP), long-distance classroom discussions, environmental awareness and protection programs to community partnership events and regional/international service projects, the King’s Academy community is motivated to discover the strength, resilience and potential that lies in each one of us.
What being a Round Square school means to us
Being a Round Square school means being actively aware and actively involved on local, national and international levels. It means caring for others and being responsible, engaging in partnerships with our community. It is making an extraordinary learning opportunity out of every moment.
