Toowoomba Anglican School (TAS) is a co-educational K–12 day and boarding school nestled on the crest of the Great Dividing Range in regional Queensland, less than two hours from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Set among tree-lined streets, open green spaces, and expansive country skies, TAS offers a calm and scenic learning environment where students can truly belong. Grounded in Anglican values, our school feels like a village – warm, connected, and deeply relational. We bring together day students and boarders from across regional Australia and around the world, creating a rich and diverse community. At TAS, every student is known, valued, and supported to grow in character as well as capability. Through shared experiences in learning, sport, the arts, and service, we cultivate a genuine sense of belonging and responsibility for one another, preparing young people for lives of purpose, contribution, and global citizenship.
The Ideals in our school
The Round Square IDEALS are embedded across the life of Toowoomba Anglican School through a deliberate K–12 framework that integrates learning, service, and character formation. Internationalism is fostered through global partnerships, exchanges, and conferences, while Democracy is lived through student voice and agency, leadership opportunities, and authentic participation in school decision-making. Environmentalism is reflected in sustainability initiatives and stewardship of our local environment. Adventure is cultivated through camps, outdoor education, and challenge-based experiences both in classes and beyond that build courage and resilience. Leadership is developed progressively through both formal and informal activities and roles across the years and Service is central to our identity, with age-appropriate projects that connect students to local and global communities. Together, these RS IDEALS are not an add-on, but a lived experience that shapes the TAS graduate.
