The Kilimanjaro Expedition Team 2026 are now heading their separate ways after an extraordinary adventure together. Over the course of the expedition, they became a close-knit group, learning about one another, their cultures and their different perspectives. As one student reflected, she now knows someone wherever she wants to go in the world.
Along the way, the team developed skills that reached far beyond the mountain itself. They learnt the importance of teamwork, supporting one another, asking for help when needed, and developing the self-awareness to recognise when to push through a challenge and when to step back and take care of themselves. They also discovered the value of spending time away from phones and even mirrors, creating space for genuine conversations, reflection and connection with others.
