Launching RSIS India December 2025 with Daly College
We are delighted to launch the next Round Square International Service Project (RSIS) taking place in India from 6 to 18 December 2025.
The project will bring together student volunteers from Round Square schools worldwide to contribute to community development initiatives in Madhya Pradesh, in collaboration with long-time Round Square member Daly College.
Based near Panna National Park, the project will support a series of health, education, and hygiene initiatives designed in partnership with the BAAVAN Trust, a local NGO working in the region. Students will assist with medical and eye-care camps, participate in a women’s hygiene awareness campaign, and help construct a mud-brick community library complete with washroom facilities.
The project continues a longstanding service partnership between Daly College and rural communities in and around Panna. With medical supervision provided by qualified doctors affiliated with BAAVAN, students will gain first-hand experience in rural healthcare delivery, including helping conduct eye tests and distributing spectacles.
In addition to service activities, students will explore local culture and biodiversity through safari visits in the Panna Tiger Reserve and an evening at the Khajuraho temple light and sound show. The project is designed to foster leadership, global understanding, and personal growth through meaningful engagement with the people, history, and environment of central India.
