Whanganui Collegiate School is a leading Anglican coeducational, seven-day boarding and day school which has been providing first class education for 170 years. We are a Round Square Global school and hold International Boarding Schools Association Accreditation. Our students complete Cambridge IGCSE at Year 11.

Due to the resignation of our long-standing Director of International Students, we seek to fill this pivotal role in our School. The Director of International Students is responsible for the recruitment and retention of International Students. This is a non-teaching position.

The Director of International Students is a key leadership role and is responsible for:

• Overseeing all international recruitment activity and practices
• Monitoring the Code of Practice to ensure that the School is compliant across all aspects.
• Support the International Student Pastoral Co-ordinator with Pastoral and Guardianship responsibilities as required.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience in the international education sector.
• Proven organisational and management skills.
• Be able to develop relationships with key stakeholders and be comfortable presenting and speaking to a diverse range of people.
• Experienced in achieving targets and developing marketing plans in line with long term strategic plans.
• Ability to manage a complex workload and set priorities effectively
