Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear fabrics of the cosmos stitched with threads of inquisitiveness. He was one of them—one of the few who had managed to survive, one complex and demanding lifetime, on a planet 8 billion people call home, the Earth. He was a mystical, interdimensional being with the power to be reborn across universes, worlds, and places people could call home—and apparently one that could prove the multidimensional theory right.

This life, Indu had decided, would be different. He wanted to learn — about humans, their problems, their hopes, and the strange beauty of living just one, limited life. He’d decided that this time, he wouldn’t have some dramatic entrance, but one of a small rock hitting the earth, peacefully making his way onto earth as a human. He already had all the human like qualities programmed into his system and he was ready to do something. Something Big.

He was found in the backyard of a very kind lady who didn’t even bat an eye and decided to adopt him. They didn’t see anything different — They wanted him, a little human who had a bright future ahead of him. He was not different. As he grew up, he was a silent observer, with thoughts trailing to the greatest depths of the stars. His eyes would always glisten under the light of the dimly lit stars above him.

At 18, He found a glowing crystal orb in his backyard, the same one his parents found him in. He picked it up, and a faint gentle voice whispered “remember?”. At this moment he felt a change—he remembered – of exploring Uranus, exploring other distant planets in the cosmos.

The memories flooded back — he was Inquisitive Indu.

He had a purpose in this lifetime, and he had to fulfill it. The world he’d chosen this time was beautiful — but fractured. People were on the constant verge of break, climate crying and people more divided than ever, all in the hands of the people who lived and ruled this place. How could humanity inflict such ruthless damage upon a place so many consider home? Indu knew he couldn’t solve everything, but he could inspire. Using his regained knowledge and power, he began to travel the world. Not to fight villains — but to awaken minds.

Indu started his quest in America. At first nobody believed him but slowly but steadily he began to gain popularity amongst the common people. He ventured from America to UK to India to Africa and by 50, he’d already visited most countries in the world. People came to know him as inventive Indu, intelligent Indu—but most importantly Inquisitive Indu. He developed numerous inventions, including a gas converter that transformed harmful greenhouse gases like CO₂ into O₂. He also founded the Ozone Renewal Foundation, initiating a global renewal program, and was later awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his remarkable contributions to the world.

Moreover, He also spent most of his free time brain dumping all his knowledge into his book “the book of the universe”. when he’d go to work, a full-time online job, He shared the gift of his inquisitiveness with the people around him. Though people had speculated that he’d been faking things and making up random stuff, but he persevered and didn’t let the hate get to him.

As time passed, he aged. Still, he continued teaching, learning, questioning and connecting with people wherever he went. He was a mystery, a legend — and yet, to everyone who met him, he felt familiar, like an old friend. He had made changes in the world that no one had ever thought to make, and he worked hard for it—though he’d been one of the heroes of discovery, he was still human after all—that is, in this lifetime of course.

On his 87th birthday, Indu returned to the where it had all begun. Waiting there were children — dozens of them. Some had become inventors, poets, and peacebuilders. Others were still finding their path. They asked him one final question: “What if you’re gone forever?”

Indu smiled. “Ideas never die. Wonder never ends. And curiosity… is contagious.”

With that, he pulled out a small orb — glowing gently— the one that had awakened him. He handed it to a girl with bright eyes and ink-stained fingers, She was his daughter. “This holds the answers to questions that no one’s ever asked. Use it wisely.”

He layed back against a rock, watching the stars appear one by one, just like he did on that first night. His breaths grew softer. His eyes closed.Though he only lived one lifetime on earth, for the earthlings, it felt that he’d made the impact of millions.

Who knows what would have happened if it weren’t for inquisitive Indu.
