Round Square Spanish Language Labs offer students live conversation in Spanish with their peers, led by native speakers from Round Square schools around the world.
These weekly, one-hour sessions are hosted by student teams who guide relaxed, purposeful discussions in Spanish. Because the groups are matched by ability—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—students can participate with confidence, stretch their skills, and speak as much as possible. The focus is practical, human, and rooted in everyday topics that invite connection.
Schools can register students aged 14+ for one, several, or all sessions. The consecutive weekly format allows relationships and confidence to build over time, turning language practice into something students genuinely look forward to.

We make the time conversion to be 8am in San Francisco and Vancouver, 9am in Calgary, 11am in Toronto, 12pm in Hamilton, 3pm in London and Belfast, 4pm in Munich, Paris and Zurich, 5pm in Athens and Johannesburg, 7pm in Dubai and Yerevan. But please check for your own location.
Please share this opportunity with your Spanish department, and consider which students would benefit from regular, low-pressure conversation with peers beyond their own school.
RS Coordinators and school faculty: If you would like to book onto a session to observe how the study labs work before signing up students, please feel free to do so. Many staff who have attended these preview sessions have found them both reassuring and useful. There is usually time for us to answer any questions you may have while also giving you the chance to see how the sessions run
