Sunbeam Suncity (School & Hostel) Varanasi in India invites you to register up to six students aged 13-15 and one adult HERE for a RS Zoom Postcard with the theme “Music Without Borders”.
The 60-minute call will take place on Wednesday 5 August at 3pm IST (GMT +5:30) which we make to be 10:30am in London, 12:30pm in Doha and Nairobi, 1:30pm in Dubai and Yerevan, and 2:30pm in Karachi, 3:30pm in Chittagong, 4:30pm in Bangkok, and 5:30pm in Beijing. But please double check this for your own location.
Before the call, our hosts ask participant to please upload HERE a 30 second recording of a song, rhythm, or instrumental piece that represents your culture. Along with your submission, answer the following question in 2–3 sentences: Why is this music meaningful to your culture or community? What story or tradition does it represent?
