Support what we support

One of the main aims of a Round Square infused education is to ingrain in young people a lifelong habit of always seeking to put back into the world more than they take from it. We hope that having practiced in school their capacity to make a positive difference in the world, RS School graduates will continue to do this for the rest of their lives, whatever they go on to do. For some, community service or charitable giving becomes a career choice, and when we reconnect with RS School Alumni who are doing great things in the world, we lend our support. Here is just one example:

One Million Beehives

Lesego Serolong, former pupil of RS school Tiger Kloof, in South Africa, is the founder of Bee Loved Honey, and the driving force behind the One Million Beehives campaign. With Bee Loved Honey, Lesego is making a positive and sustainable difference not just to the environment but also to the prosperity of her local community in South Africa. You can find out more on our YouTube channel HERE. Last year, the Round Square Community stepped up to help. So far, students in RS Schools have raised USD $30,000 to fund the establishment of over 300 beehives. You can get involved and sponsor a Beehive by visiting Lesego’s web site HERE.
