Thinking Globally but acting locally- problem solving in communities with feedback from around the nation (US) and world. There are lots of ways to make it fit- let us know if you are interested! We meet virtually four times during the year and it ends in a summit in April. Students explore the UNSDGs– and think globally but act locally – creating real life solutions.

We use the design approach to explore issues facing us in each of our communities but find out what that looks like in other communities around the world and nation(US). The focus of this year’s endeavor is SDG is #12-Responsible Consumption and Production https://www.scarsdalesteam.com/gec.

We meet -share-problem solve and ideate three times before the final summit in April (ideas and work from previous iterations are available here).
We hope you will join us! https://www.scarsdalesteam.com/gec

You have the choice to send one team in person or meet online. We do not offer hosting but suggest a nearby hotel or we are a 38 minute train from NYC. Those in person are treated to time shadowing students at school and then a day in NYC , as our guests, including a visit to the United Nations.
