Bridge House School, situated in the Cape Winelands close to Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl, is an independent day / boarding school for over seven hundred girls and boys from Grade 0000 to Grade 12
Bridge House School
Bridge House participates actively in the exchange programme; and a delegation of students attends every regional and international conference. Our student body, which includes full-time foreign students, is cosmopolitan. Student leadership is elected by the students, implementing the principles of a democratic system.
Facilities are designed to minimise their environmental impact and awareness is raised in the classroom as well as in extra-curricular activities.
Bridge House offers a wide range of camps and hikes of varying difficulty, and these constitute an integral part of the education offered. Students engage in ongoing service interactions, opportunities which recognise our shared humanity with our communities.
What being a RS school means to us
“For me, Round Square is a way of living, you are constantly challenging yourself and your opinions of the world, through community service and though the engagement in diversity. Round Square teaches you to see things through the eyes of others.” Aimée Bosman - past RS student rep
“In this day and age, an immense amount of pressure is placed on academics; it is not all simply about that at our school and that extra element that is added by being a Round Square School, it is what makes Bridge House that much better.” Rachel Weber - past RS student rep
