Christ’s College, Christchurch is an independent, Anglican, secondary, day and boarding school for boys, located in the central city of Christchurch, New Zealand.
The IDEALS in our school
Christ’s College primarily uses its student committee system to implement the Round Square IDEALS and the committees are required to work within the Round Square framework in terms of democratic processes, leadership, adventure and service. The committees are: Academic, Service, Environment, International/Round Square, Student Welfare, Technology/eLearning, Arts/Culture and Sport. We also encourage student voice and democracy through our Student Senate. ‘Adventure’ is catered for through sport, outdoor education, the boarding activities programme and field trips. We are also developing links with Round Square schools via exchange programmes and curricular collaboration.

Christ’s College wants to embrace a global perspective and it is essential for our students to see their connections to the wider world.
