The IDEALS in our school

The School’s educational programmes not only foster and support children’s academic development but also their moral, social and physical growth. Through our strong commitment towards our local community, we inculcate in children the values of empathy, compassion and respect towards others and the environment. The collaborative work with multiple NGOs, partner exchange schools, DAIS-initiated community service programmes, the Village Empowerment Project and student-initiated service activities reflect the strong Service and Environment Stewardship aspects that are at the heart of the RS philosophy. The different interactions and exchange programmes with organisations, institutions and universities around the world foster this spirit of Internationalism.

What being a Round Square school means to us

The Round Square ethos underlines the need go to beyond academic success to strive for personal growth through practical, experiential learning and cultivate a sense of responsibility through service to society. These are addressed by inculcating the values of the six RS IDEALS of learning: Internationalism, Democracy, Environment, Adventure, Leadership and Service. Consequently, living the RS philosophy demands courage, generosity, imagination, principle and resolution.
