The team has now come together, with one final student arriving later today.
The focus of the day is on getting to know each other and building the foundations of an effective team. Students are also learning about the place they will be exploring over the coming days: its history, people, culture, geology and natural environment.
The team enjoyed a lunch of chicken, chips and vegetable salad before sorting their duffel bags and checking their climbing gear. They then headed into town together.
