Barker College is an independent Anglican co-educational early learning, primary and secondary day and boarding school, located in Hornsby, a North Shore suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
The IDEALS in our school
Barker has recently become a Round Square School and is in the process of planning for its strategic implementation over the coming years. The School is looking at bringing existing activities and experiences under the Round Square approach to encourage and foster greater collaboration and improved alignment with all that is offered at the School. We are also working towards identifying new opportunities that students and staff can be involved in through utilising the Round Square network and resources. Additionally, we are in the initial stages of starting and developing professional relationships with other Round Square Schools.
What being a Round Square school means to us
Being a Round Square School is a valuable opportunity for the College to strive towards offering a global-minded education to our young people. It provides meaningful cross-cultural opportunities and a framework for experiental learning that we hope will assist in developing student character and passion which empowers them to serve others both now and in the future.
