The IDEALS in our school

Belgrano Day School has a British origin and a global educational perspective (Exchange Program, online USA High School Diploma, etc.).  It fosters democratic principles (Debate club, Models United Nations, students’ presentations in assemblies, voting motions, etc.), and implements environmental conscience-forming cross-disciplinary projects, from Kindergarten  to Senior School. Adventure takes the form of field trips, tours, and  camping activities, among others. The internal House system promotes positive leadership. Seniors are offered a Work- experience program and workshops on leadership, effective communications, negotiations, etc. BDS itself holds a leading position in Argentine Education: its ICT-based school Model has had a positive impact both locally and abroad.

What being a Round Square school means to us

Argentina is far away in the “bottom of the world”, as Argentine Pope Francis put it the day he was elected. Being a RS member is a huge opportunity for BDS to open up  and get closer to the world, sharing avant-garde teaching/learning experience with similar schools in all continents.
