The Ideals in our school
Internationalism is well represented with International club and other clubs focusing on single cultures and nationalities while the Student Senate and the Junior Senators of America (JSA) club embodies the Democratic spirit. In addition, groups like the Environmental Club and Cate’s Green Team strive for environmentalism by helping to create a healthier planet. While hikes through the mountains, trips to surf, and other events promote adventure, student run clubs like Men’s Forum and Women’s Forum epitomize leadership at Cate. With a school motto of “Servons”, service is held close to our hearts with multiple international service projects throughout the year and weekly community service trips.
What being a Round Square school means to us
Being a Round Square school means that Cate has the opportunity to give its students a greater global perspective and sense of humanity. Not only do students learn more about themselves and the world, but they also grow and mature in the Cate community. In short, being a Round Square school means that we as a community get to be a part of something bigger than ourselves and develop into students ready to go out into the world and create change.
