Established in 1985, Central Coast Grammar School is a non-selective, independent day school for girls and boys from Kindergarten to Year 12, at the heart of our community at Erina Heights on the Central Coast.

At Central Coast Grammar School, Round Square IDEALS are woven into the learning and lived experience of students, integrating with the school’s focus on Deep Learning and reflecting Grammar’s focus on the character dimensions of intellectual, moral, civic and performative character. Through a rich blend of academic, co‑curricular and experiential programs, Internationalism and Democracy cultivates intellectual curiosity and civic responsibility seen through participation in global perspectives, student voice, international exchange and conference experiences and participatory leadership opportunities. Environmentalism affords students opportunities to develop ethical awareness and stewardship for the natural world. Adventure is embraced in camps, expeditions and challenges that build performative character, fostering resilience, collaboration and self-regulation through challenge-based learning. Leadership and Service experiences intentionally integrate all four-character domains through authentic, community-connected experiences. The IDEALS and character focus areas create a coherent, values-driven learning culture that develops capable, ethical and engaged young people who are actively participating in the world.
