Cobham Hall
Gender: Coeducational Type: Day and boarding school Age range: 11 - 18
Cobham Hall is an independent Boarding and Day School for students aged 11-18, based in a 16th Century Manor House in 150 acres of parkland.
We believe the combination of five key reasons – focus on the individual, challenge and opportunity, pastoral care and wellbeing, diversity, and our inspirational setting –result in each girl achieving more than they themselves believed possible.
The IDEALS in our school
With a founding aim of providing girls with an education that focused on internationalism, the RS IDEALS are deeply ingrained into Cobham Hall’s ethos.
From standing for election to the Student Leadership Team, through a student body that represents more than 25 nationalities, to helping others with small acts of kindness or on international service projects, the spirit of the six pillars enable girls to have life-changing opportunities. The IDEALS provide a framework for experiences that shape and develop well-rounded individuals capable of leaving school as valuable, respectful, global citizens.
What being a Round Square school means to us
Round Square underpins everything we do at Cobham Hall. It’s about providing a diverse range of experiences, encouraging girls to learn that they can each make a difference. Learning that it is possible to work alongside those of a different culture, language, religion or social background to accomplish great things. It’s about overcoming fears, gaining confidence and discovering more about themselves simply by trying something new or beyond their comfort zone. That’s what being a Round Square School means.
