Fountain Valley School of Colorado is a private, co-educational independent college preparatory school for students in the 9th through 12th grades.
The Ideals in our school
As a boarding and day school in the American West, we have signature adventure programs that rely on our spectacular setting: Outdoor Education, Equestrian (English and Western), Mountain Biking Team, Climbing Team, and Skiing/Snowboarding. Our international opportunities include the Global Scholar Diploma, boarding with international students, Interim trips to many parts of the world, and a robust language program and Global Affairs Forum. Our commitment to environmental sustainability is apparent in much of the curriculum, the design of many campus buildings, and our commitment to stewardship of our 1,200 acre campus and our 40 acre Mountain Campus high in the Rockies.
What being a Round Square school means to us
Since our school’s founding in 1930, our mission has included many of the values of Round Square. However, being a member since 2013, we have enjoyed the increased international connections, especially with Latin America, Africa, and Australia. The Round Square “experience” is increasingly part of the fabric of our vibrant and creative community. To us, Round Square means understanding citizenship in a global context.
