The IDEALS in our school

With students from over 40 different nations, Gordonstoun thrives on Internationalism and this is celebrated across the school’s unique curriculum.

Leadership and Democratic processes are encouraged in numerous student councils and interactive decision making with staff.

Gordonstoun cares for the Environment through its Conservation Service, informed recycling practices and responsible use of energy.

All students embrace adventure through skiing, kayaking or walking expeditions in the Scottish Mountains, or sail training voyages on the seas around the Moray Firth and the Western Isles.

All students become members of a Service and are expected to be of service.

Gordonstoun students are encouraged to live by the school motto, “Plus est en Vous”.
