KC Public School is a K-12 privately managed co-educational school located in the city of Jammu in the State of Jammu & Kashmir. It was founded in 1997 and was named after late Kishan Chand — the patriarch of KC Group of Industries.
The IDEALS in our school
We strongly believe in character building of our students and have deep faith in the six IDEALS of Kurt Hahn’s educational philosophy as a means to giving concrete shape to this ideal. Our curriculum offers students opportunities and platforms to put into practice the true spirit of the RS ideals, namely, Internationalism, Environmentalism, Leadership, Democracy, Service and Adventure. We have students-led community service projects, environment awareness activities addressing our immediate community in the form of street plays and rallies, international student exchange programmes, democratic school management system involving students in leadership roles and an active Adventure Club
What being a Round Square school means to us
The Round Square IDEALS lead the way to the complete education of a child. Though we do not under-rate the relevance of academic achievement, we do have a firm conviction that a child needs to grow into an individual with the right kind of values and attitudes that can be inculcated very effectively through the IDEALS of the Round Square.
