Steinmühle is a state-recognised private grammar school and boarding school located in Marburg, in the centre of Germany. In addition to our German grammar school, Steinmühle is certified as a Cambridge International School and offers children from around the world a bilingual primary and secondary education, culminating in the IGCSE. Moreover, Steinmühle has its own nursery, making our campus a diverse community of children and young adults aged 1 to 19.

The Ideals in our school

Steinmühle is committed to preparing children for life in a globalised world, helping them grow into independent, tolerant, engaged, and confident individuals. To achieve this, Steinmühle offers a multifaceted curriculum that allows every student to discover their talents and excel, with opportunities in STEM subjects, languages, sports, art, and more. As an environmentally friendly school, we instil respect for nature and encourage students to live sustainably. Leadership is fostered through our student council, student-run enterprises (such as producing and selling our own honey), and the ways students guide and support each other in daily life, embedding Round Square ideals not only in our curriculum but also making them an integral part of our daily interactions on campus.

What being a Round Square school means to us

We are delighted to have the opportunity to be part of Round Square. We look forward to connecting with other like-minded Round Square schools around the world. Embracing internationality and diversity, we hope to foster inspiring and meaningful interactions and are keen to engage in international projects and exchanges.
