The Ideals in our school

The goal for each Glennie student is to be curious, open-minded, collaborative, and resourceful, willing to step outside her comfort zone to grow and learn. This aspiration is strongly reflected in the IDEALS, which are deeply embedded within the academic, wellbeing and co-curricular programs at the School.

Glennie’s distinguishing French Immersion program encourages students to see themselves as global citizens and fosters intercultural understanding, whilst girls embrace the spirit of adventure as part of the Enrichment and Excellence programs.

Developing the leadership skills of servant leaders within the school community is a core focus of our Wellbeing program, as well as initiatives that foster this service and connection across cohorts, year levels, and campuses. The Be of Service program instils a passion to serve others, with students in the Environmental Club exemplifying this commitment by also taking on the role of environmental stewards.

What being a Round Square school means to us

Being a Round Square School provides students of The Glennie School with an education that goes beyond academics, equipping them with the skills, values, and experiences necessary to become responsible, compassionate, and globally-minded leaders.

The Glennie School’s focus on Educational Excellence, Character Development, Connected Community, and Future Sustainability aligns with Hahnian principles emphasising personal character development and holistic student growth. By fostering resilience, leadership, teamwork, and a sense of spiritual and moral responsibility, Glennie ensures that students are well-equipped to face the challenges of the modern world.
