Zasqua is a bio-reserve nestled in the campus of Colombia’s Colegio Los Nogales school. The site is used like a ‘living laboratory’ allowing students of all ages to care for the environment and its animals, run experiments, and record and analyse data.

AKS Lytham’s initiative, Bring Me Sunshine, recognises and celebrates the value of inter-generational connections. Students at the school have devised a calendar of social and educational events to combat the social isolation faced by many in the elderly community but also celebrate and value the skills and experience they can share with younger pupils.

Latymer Upper’s Global Goals Course

The Global Goals Course at Latymer Upper School ties into the school’s strategic aim to help pupils become active global citizens. The students identify a UN goal to research and devise a plan to realise  this goal. Their resulting project is celebrated at a ‘Global Goals Festival’.
