Centre Head – Early Learning Centre

The Centre Head is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Early Learning Centre, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves leading staff, engaging with families, and implementing high-quality early childhood education programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
- Oversee daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support teaching and administrative staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Design and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that encourages exploration and learning.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress and development.
- Build strong relationships with families, encouraging their involvement in the centre.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Manage budgets, resources, and supplies effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s enrollment, attendance, and assessments.
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
- Oversee health and safety protocols, including emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, Certified courses in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in early childhood education, with 5 years in a leadership role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and the community.
